Introducing: Dancing About Architecture

Introducing: Dancing About Architecture

We are excited to announce the launch of a new series we are experimenting with, "Dancing About Architecture".

The name is from the oft-used quote, "Writing about music is like dancing about architecture", which has been attributed to many different people over time, including  William S. Burroughs, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Charles Mingus, Frank Zappa, George Carlin, Martin Mull, Lester Bangs, David Byrne, Steve Martin, Elvis Costello, and Laurie Anderson.

Each week, a new respondent from the world of music and culture will answer a fixed set of questions about music - and occasionally some other topics. The questions themselves come from an evolving bank we've created and are presented to each respondent in varying orders and quantity. Expect to hear from past and future guests of the podcast, musicians, as well as other figures from the worlds of culture and art.

New posts will go live every Monday - the first one is up right now - have a look. Everyone else can check back on Monday, August 5.
