Bonus Tracks is the official online companion of the Spotlight On podcast.

Bonus Tracks features writing from Spotlight On host Lawrence Peryer and an evolving cast of guest contributors. These guest writers allow us to function as a platform for a diverse array of new voices and to expand the types of music we cover, music that we (and maybe you) might not otherwise know about.

We believe independent media, artists and voices are fundamental to a free society. Since posting the first episode of the podcast in February 2020, we have hosted hundreds of revealing talks, and, through this website, presented an ongoing series of interviews, features, playlists and more, from a network of paid, independent contributors from around the world.

Each conversation and article adds to our understanding of - and appreciation for - the world around us. I hope we do the same for you.
